Friday's Five Faves

I have had a busy, but fun past couple of weeks.  Work is going well despite the looming 9/15 deadline and the townhouse remodel is moving right along.  I'm actually going to move some things over there this weekend.  It's starting to feel real!  Here are some things that have warmed my heart recently.

1.  Brotherly Love - I love these boys so much and they are growing up so fast.  Noah just started the 4th grade and Jonah is now in kindergarten (God bless his teacher - he has a little of his Aunt Cassie in him).  Last time I was home, they were playing soccer and Jonah couldn't keep his shoes tied.  Being the big brother that he is, Noah took care of it for him.  Melt my heart!

2.  Office Parties - we've had several birthdays/wedding celebrations recently.  No one tell my trainer.......

3.  Football season - let the games begin!  My fave gal pal becomes a rival on the weekends since she is an LSU fan.  We will never let that get in the way of our friendship, though.  RTR forever!!

4. GNO - you know how every time you get together with girlfriends for dinner, you say "let's do this again soon" then it never happens.  In an attempting to solve that problem, some friends and I have set a monthly dinner night.  The first Thursday of every month.  I hope we can keep it up, because last night's was amazing. We went to Five.  Go there.  Now.  We had delicious food, cocktails, and atmosphere.  Yes, that's a rose petal in my glass of yumminess!

Ignore my crazy eyes......I have abnormally large pupils and get the worst red eye.  I've been told it's a sign of beauty....doesn't look too beautiful in this picture!

5.  Fun times with old friends - I spent Labor Day weekend at home with my family and friends.  I seriously saw people that I haven't seen since I graduated from high school.  A friend hosted parties both Friday and Saturday nights.  Good times were had by all!  Maybe a little too much at some points.....I spent a lot of time with one of my oldest friends, Kristi.  Why, yes, I am wearing a bow in my hair.  A sweet little 4-year-old girl did my hair several times on Saturday.  We played beauty shop and I paid her with my credit card.  She even checked my ID!

I really have no big plans this weekend.  GTL (gym, tan/pool, laundry), with some moving, cleaning, and church added in for good measure.  Have an awesome weekend!
